Oklahoma City's Human Rights Commission (HRC) is histing a volunteer event to help with our ongoing plat amendment process, which is focused on identifying plats that contain discriminatory language. The event will take place on March 28th from 10am - 12pm at the Ron Norick Downtown Library in the computer lab. No prior knowledge of the process is needed, and volunteers do not need to bring their own computer. The training will start with a brief training on how to identify plats, then volunteers will work on reviewing plat documents.
